Blizzard has just released WotLK Classic patch 3.4.3 on October 10, 2023. The Icecrown Citadel patch is loaded with lore, challenges, and rewards. Here are some of the highlights that you can expect from the new patch:
- Icecrown Citadel Raid: The centerpiece of this patch is, of course, the Icecrown Citadel itself. This massive fortress stands as the last big raid dungeon of the expansion (Halion is still to come, but it's rather an Onyxia-like short raid), packed with 12 boss encounters. It's where we finally get to confront the Lich King, Arthas Menethil, and bring an end to his reign of terror.

- New 5-man Dungeons: Alongside the raid, the patch introduced three new 5-man dungeons located within the Citadel. They are: The Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, and the Halls of Reflection. Each has its own unique challenges and lore, making them a must-visit not only for loot, but also for the story.
- Random Dungeon Finder: Not everyone will like this feature since it has proved its potential to lower social interactions, but it will definitely speed up the group finding process.
- New Titan Rune Dungeons: As expected, WotLK's 5 man dungeons will get another level of difficulty with better loot.
