Spider-Man 2 already has an update available before the game has even launched! Check out how big the download is, and why you should download it asap.
Spider-Man 2 is set to release on October 20, so it's only a few days away! If you're an especially eager beaver, then you might have already preloaded Spider-Man 2 onto your PS5 .
You might want to check your game before it's officially released, to make sure that you can immediately start playing, since Insomniac Games has already released the first update for Spider-Man 2!
Spider-Man 2: First Update Pre-Release
With a pre-ordered digital copy of Spider-Man 2 you can preload the game on to your PS5, a few days before the game comes out.
The preload has been available for a couple of days already, since October 13.
Many of you have probably already downloaded the game, since it's pretty big, so you won't have to wait ages to start playing. But, you'll want to make sure that you also have the first big update downloaded as well!
Insomniac Games have already released the day-one update for Spider-Man 2, according to PlayStation Game Size over on Twitter:

The update seems to be smaller than 2 GBs, but even that can take forever if you have bad internet. So, if you really want to start playing immediately on October 20, we'd recommend to download the update prior to that.
Unfortunately, we don't know what the patch notes include as of now, as there hasn't been any information revealed to the public.
