With Phantom Liberty, the main campaign of Cyberpunk 2077 got a new ending with a different conclusion. This is how you can pick a new fate for V!
During your time in Cyberpunk 2077 you meet several characters who try to help V with her relic problem, and Johnny Silverhand ravaging in their brain. Most of this option are just hollow words, but one person's offer is quite promising.
With Songbird being a top-tier netrunner, she gathered a lot of knowledge throughout her career. And she is also the one who offers you help with your condition.
With that being said, this is how you unlock the new ending for the main campaign of Cyberpunk 2077!

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: How To Unlock New Ending For Main Campaign
In order to unlock the new ending, you need to pick your choices in a distinctive order during the Firestarter quest. We already talked about the importance of the Firestarter quest, but most importantly: You need to choose an ending where Songbird survives and is taken into custody by the FIA.
These are also your options after your choices during the Firestarer quest:
- Side with Reed – You need to spare Songbird instead of killing her
- Side with Songbird – You need to hand her over to Reed instead of sending her to the moon
This way, the Neutral matrix will be extracted from her and used to cure you instead!
After you finished the Phantom Liberty expansion, you'll start the "Through Pain to Heaven" quest and wait for Solomon Reed to contact you. Later on, you'll encounter him just as he's departing Night City to arrange your surgery. This marks the beginning of the "Who Wants to Live Forever" quest, and here's where you'll have to be patient and wait even more.
Be sure to finish everything up while you're waiting to get in contact with Reed, because once he gets in touch with you, this will lead straight to the new ending of Cyberpunk 2077 and another conclusion for V!
