The 2023 Halloween Steam sale, called "Steam Scream: The Revenge" will feature a number of heavily discounted horror games. The sale begins on October 26, but we can already reveal a number of games to you that will be included in the sale.
Steam celebrate almost every public holiday with their own sale, and Halloween is no exception. This is a great opportunity to get horror games for a reduced price, and don't worry if you're easily frightened, they've also included some games that are horror-themed but not scary. In fact, the rules on what will be included are pretty loose, Steam allowed publishers to submit any games tagged with the following keywords:
- Horror
- Survival Horror
- Vampire
- Zombies
- Werewolves
- Supernatural
- Dark Fantasy
- Lovecraftian
This is actually the second time that Steam have done a Halloween sale called "Steam Scream", hence why it's technically called "Steam Scream: The Revenge" this year. But nothing has really changed: You've got a week to buy horror games for cheap. You can take a look at some of the best games included in the sale below.
