While you'll probably spend quite a bit of time playing Lords of the Fallen, we're sure that you won't want to spend too much time figuring out how to get to the other realm, from the one you're stuck in.

There are a few ways that you can switch from the Axiom to the Umbral and vice versa. We'll show you just how easy it is!

Lords of the Fallen: How To Switch Realms

First, it's important to understand what these two realms are. The Axiom and the Umbral are two parallel realms in Lords of the Fallen . Axiom is the realm of the living, whereas Umbral is the realm of the dead.

There are multiple ways to switch between realms, but you'll have to use different methods, depending on which realm you want to go to.

There are three different ways that you can travel from Axiom to Umbral. Some are easier to achieve than others, though.

Use Your Lantern

The first way to go to the Umbral realm is also the easiest and most convenient method. All you have to do is hold your lantern in your hand and then press the correct corresponding button to do so.

Being Dragged Down By Umbral Enemy

You can also enter the Umbral realm by being dragged down by an umbral enemy. In order for this to work, you'll have to be holding your lantern. As soon as an umbral enemy hits you while you're holding your lantern, you'll be brought to the Umbral realm.

Die Unintentionally

The last method to get to the Umbral realm is probably the one you'll want to use the least. If you accidentally die in the Axiom, then you'll be brought to the Umbral realm. This doesn't work if you just decide to jump off a cliff or something like that, it actually has to be an unintentional death. Otherwise, you'll just respawn in the Axiom.

There are two different ways to get back to the Axiom realm.

Rest At A Vestige

Resting at a Vestige is your easiest bet to getting back to the Axiom Realm. While this will respawn enemies, it will also refill your items. You win some, you lose some.

Examine A Skull-faced Statue

You can also return to the Axiom if you find a statue with a skull for a face and blue tendrils coming out of it. Just walk up to it and examine it, and then you'll be sent back to the Axiom!

Unfortunately, this method won't work if there are enemies nearby, but this only seems to be the case if the enemies are really close to the statue as well, so if they're further away then you should be fine.
