Counter-Strike 2: Long-Awaited Skin Could Finally Come

The Taser has been in CS:GO for about 10 years, and since then it has always looked the same. This could change in Counter-Strike 2. So are we finally getting some skins for this iconic Weapon?

One of CS:GO's most iconic Weapons has looked the same for about 10 years now. But there is light at the end of the tunnel, with the upcoming release of Counter-Strike 2. Now there are new hints that the Taser might get some skins in the new title.

Counter-Strike 2: Finally Skins For The Taser?

Every CS:GO player has encountered the Zeus x27, better known as the Taser, at least once in the last decade and heard its iconic electric sound or died from it – feels even worse than getting knifed. The Taser might not be the most used or the most liked weapon in CS:GO, but that Valve never released a single Skin for it in 10 years is surprising. This might change now with Counter-Strike 2.

On June 15th, Valve released patch notes for Counter-Strike 2. Here it was stated that they "added Zeus x27 to workshop submission weapon list". So this means that Valve is allowing the artists in their community to design skins for the Zeus x27. So let's see how creative the community gets until the start of CS2 in summer, and if there are some skins that valve wants to put in the game.

It's about time, that the taser finally gets some love and a visual overhaul!
