New EA FC 24 Evolutions: Best Players To Upgrade

Finally! EA has released new possibilities to upgrade players with their new feature in Ultimate Team called Evolutions. There was some concern in the community that it might be as underwhelming as Moments – lacking in compelling rewards or even fun.

We're here to guide you through the two new Evolution options in EA FC 24, detailing all the requirements and revealing the best cards to upgrade. Here we go!

EA FC 24 Evolutions: Pacey Winger – Requirements & Best Players To Upgrade

The Pacey Winger Evolution lets you evolve a RW by adding two PlayStyles and a boost for Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling and Physicality.

To be able to evolve a Pacey Winger you have to spend 50,000 Coins or 1000 FC Points. So you want to make sure you choose the right player, as otherwise it's a huge waste of money.

Pacey Winger Player Requirements:

• OVR: Max .81
• POS: RW
• PAC: Max. 85
• PAS: Max. 80
• DRI: Max. 85
• PHY: Max. 75
• PlayStyles: Max. 8

All Boosts & Upgrades:

After completing the two upgrade stages and 6 challenges, you'll receive the following boosts:

• PAC: +8
• SHO: +3
  
• PAS: +4
• DRI: +4
• DEF: +0
• PHY: +4
• PlayStyles: Quick Step & Rapid

All Challenges:

Note that Squad Battle difficulty must be set to at least Semi-Pro. You must complete the following challenges to receive all upgrades, boosts & new PlayStyles for your Pacey Winger:

Level 1:

• Assist 4 goals with your Evo player (Squad Battles/Rivals/Champs)
• Win 7 matches (SB/R/Ch) with Evo player in your squad
• Play 3 Rivals or Champs matches with Evo player in your squad

Level 2:

• Score 4 goals with your Evo player (SB/R/Ch)
• Win 5 matches (SB/R/Ch) with Evo player in your squad
• Win 5 Rivals or Champs matches with Evo player in your squad

Best Players To Evolve As Pacey Winger

EA's suggestion of SSC Napoli's Matteo Politano is certainly a safe choice. But there are other players who will fit perfectly and give you a lot of pleasure. Keep an eye out for possible links in your squad, as you want to pick a player you can use in your starting lineup.

Otherwise, you can simply look for a super sub – a really fast player you can bring on for the last 20 minutes of a match to put pressure on your opponents' defenders.

EA FC 24 Evolutions: Bruiser Wingback– Requirements & Best Players To Upgrade

The Bruiser Wingback Evolution allows you to evolve an RB. You'll get a boost for Pace, Passing, Dribbling, Defending and Physicality.

This Evo stage is the free one and comes at no additional cost. You may want to choose a player you like, but there are obviously some candidates that would be perfect for this evolution.

Bruiser Wingback Player Requirements:

• OVR: Max. 74
• POS: RB (must not be a CB)
• PAC: Max. 85
• PHY: Max. 75
• PlayStyles: Max. 9

All Boosts & Upgrades:

After completing the two upgrade stages and 6 challenges, you'll receive the following boosts:

• PAC: +3
• SHO: +0
  
• PAS: +5
• DRI: +5
• DEF: +10
• PHY: +10
• Defensive Work Rate: High
• PlayStyle: Bruiser

• Play 3 matches in the Live Ultimate Team Friendly with Evo player in your squad

Best Players To Evolve As Bruiser Wingback

The Bruiser Wingback can come in handy if you have not found a suitable RB for your team. Otherwise, the grind is a bit hard just to create new possible SBC fodder. But once the Hero SBC is out there, you might be happy to have another 83 OVR player.

So think about whether the grind is worth it. You'll have to play a lot of games in the Friendly Cup – at least you don't have to win them.
