Let's start off with the basics first: In Assassin's Creed Mirage there are three different types of tokens, aka Khidmah Tokens. Each token type has a different usage and also looks different, so you can easily tell which one is which. The three types of tokens are:

  • Merchant Tokens (green) – Use them to open Token Chests, or trade them with merchants to get permanent discounts from their shops. Otherwise, you can also use these tokens to pay, or more so bribe, merchant groups, so they'll let you sneak into restricted areas with them.
  • Scholar Tokens (silver) – You can use Scholar Tokens to pay musicians, so they'll play music and thus distract guards. Or you can use these tokens to buy maps from Cartographers.
  • Power Tokens (bronze) – Power Tokens are used to either pay mercenaries to attack nearby guards, or to bribe a Munadi to lower your notoriety.

All tokens have their perks, but Power Tokens can be especially useful if your notoriety is too high, and you want to continue sneaking around unnoticed. If your notoriety is too high, and you don't have any Power Tokens available, check out our other tips to lower your notoriety level:

There are basically two ways that you can get Khidmah Tokens in Assassin's Creed Mirage. You can either get them by completing contracts or by pickpocketing civilians.

Contracts are basically optional side quests that you can take on to gain a plethora of rewards. Not every contract will grant you tokens, so check the rewards mentioned for every contract, before you take them on.

Another way you can obtain tokens is by pickpocketing civilians. Pickpocketing is a basic skill that you'll need if you want to get money and tokens real fast in Assassin's Creed Mirage.

The gist of it is quite simple, you'll want to look for a heavily populated area in Baghdad, so people won't notice you as much, but make sure your notoriety is low.

Then you'll want to use your Eagle Vision in order to scope out which NPCs have glowing pouches at their backside. Once they're distracted, get close to the civilian, use your pickpocket ability and pray that you'll be successful in the minigame. Otherwise, you can just enable the "guaranteed pickpocket" option.

For more tips and tricks about pickpocketing, take a look at our Assassin's Creed Mirage pickpocket guide.

That's pretty much it! Not every pickpocket chance or contract will guarantee tokens, but they're both still worth doing, as you'll gain rewards either way.

If you can't immediately find good contracts or pouches, take a look at other areas, or just wait around until new ones spawn.
