It's 2023 and it's time for Worlds. Once agian, Riot is enabling drops for aplyers who want to watch the esports actions, while also taking home some cool prizes for their League of Legends accounts.

How To Enable Watch Drops

If you want to be able to gain some freebies just by sitting back and watching Worlds, then make sure to follow these steps below:

  1. Log in to Watch: Head over to the official LoL Esports website and make sure you're logged in with your League of Legends account.
  2. Watch Live Games: Ensure you're watching games live or VODs on the LoL Esports website. Drops are typically enabled during live broadcasts.
  3. Enable Notifications: Ensure that you have notifications enabled on the website to be alerted when a Drop happens. Usually you have to check for a green checkmark next to "Rewards" when you log in.
  4. Claim the Drop: When a moment happens in a game that triggers a Drop (e.g., a pentakill, upset, or historical moment), a notification will pop up on the viewing platform. You'll typically need to click to claim the Drop.
  5. Check In-Game: After claiming, the reward will usually be available in your League of Legends client. This might be in the form of in-game currency, skins, icons, or other goodies.

What Can You Receive Through Watch Drops

Players will be able to receive specific icons and emotes through the esports watch drops – and if you're a member of Prime Gaming you can get even more freebies for Worlds 2023.
