Riot Games have revealed that Valorant won't be getting a 2.10 patch, instead, the game will go directly into 2.11. Here's why that's happening and when to expect the next update.

If there's one thing that's consistent in Valorant, it's the release of new skins. That and regular updates coming every two weeks (editor: so... there are two things consistent in Valorant then). Sometimes, updates come even more often than that, but this time it'll be something different as Riot Games revealed Valorant will skip patch 2.10.

Valorant Patch 2.10 Cancelled

The next patch in Valorant will be 2.11instead of the expected 2.10. This information came straight from the official Valorant Twitter account.

Periodically, we have to update the engine for our game. Due to the nature of these updates, we want to give ourselves plenty of testing time and a stabilization period before shipping it to you. So, there will be no Patch 2.10. The next update will be Patch 2.11, around June 8.

Valorant's patch 2.10 was expected to drop next week, but that won't be the case. Riot Games sure is switching things up lately: First, there was no new agent with Episode 2 Act 3 and now the current patch will stick around for almost an entire month. Previously the dev team spoke of Yoru buffs that many players expected with patch 2.09. Since that didn't happen many looked forward to 2.10, but now that's scrapped, so... sorry, Yoru.

Whatever the devs had planned for patch 2.10 will probably be released later with patch 2.11.

Valorant Patch 2.11 Release Date

The next patch in Valorant is expected to drop in June. According to the tweet above it should "around June 8". Whether that'll be the exact release date of the next Valorant update remains to be seen.
