Patch 3.05 Leak: Agent Nerfs and Ranked Changes!

This will be one of the most groundbreaking Valorant patches ever! Or at least that's what the leaks say.

We are 2 days before Patch 3.05 release, along with the new Valorant Act. So far, we knew about the Fracture map, new skin collections, and that was already a lot. However, according to leaks, we can also expect some freshness in the ranked meta, mainly due to some Agent nerfs and competitive updates. And although what we're writing about now may change, let's take a look at what the leaks from the Content Creator Patch Notes tell us about the future of Valorant.

Valorant Patch 3.05 Leak: Agent Changes

These Agent changes shouldn't affect the current metagame that much. Actually, we'd expect to see more nerfs/buffs in the final version of Patch 3.05. For now, we only know about some minor changes that you might want to know about if you main one of these Agents:

Killjoy — Turret (E)

• Bullet tagging reduced 72.5% slow to 29.5% slow (84.31% Decrease in slowing)

Raze — Boom Bot (C)

• Max damage reduced from 125 to 80
• Min damage reduced from 50 to 30
• Cost reduced from 400 to 300

Breach — Aftershock (C)

Now deals damage to:

• Killjoy's Alarm Bot/ Nanoswarm / Lockdown
• Cypher's Tripwire
• Reyna's Leer
• Sova's Recon Bolt
• Sage's Barrier Orb
• KAY/O's Zero/Point

Brimstone — Orbital Strike (X)

Now deals damage to:

• Killjoy's Alarm Bot / Nanoswarm / Lockdown
• Cypher's Tripwire
• Reyna's Leer
• Sage's Barrier Orb
• Sova's Recon Bolt
• KAY/O's Zero/Point

Sova — Hunter's Fury (X)

Now deals damage to:

• Killjoy's Alarm Bot / Nanoswarm / Lockdown
• Cypher's Trapwire
• Sage Barrier Orb
• Sova's Recon Bolt
• KAY/O's Zero Point

Patch 3.05 Leak: Competitive Update

And what are the changes for competitive play? First of all, we will get a Fracture-only queue for two weeks to test the map, something we all somewhat expected. What we didn't expect, is that Immortal 1/2/3 rank tiers will return! That's right, leaks from the Content Creator Patch Notes say that we are getting a new rank distribution and returning rank tiers for Immortal ranks. Moreover, all players who already have a Diamond 1/2/3 rank will automatically be promoted to Immortal. So, if you are close to the Diamond rank — you better grind it. You have two more days to do it, so good luck!

Patch 3.05 Leak: What About a New Valorant Agent?

Sadly, these leaks say nothing about a new Valorant Agent... but well, we still have two more days so, who knows? Moreover, there's also no information on the new Zedd skins. We also don't know anything about the long-announced Viper nerfs and Yoru rework. What could this mean? The content creator patch notes may be only a part of what we will get in a Valorant Patch 3.05. And this confirms what we wrote at the beginning of this article — this might be one of the most game-changing Valorant updates ever.
