Valorant: LOUD Signs New Player – Have They Replaced Aspas?

After LOUD resigned a past Valorant player, it seems they're trying to fill Aspas shoes, but that's not something that just anyone can do. A new prodigy player seems to be the hope of this Valorant team.

Aspas's transfer journey and surrounding buzz concluded roughly a week ago when he officially separated from LOUD. While speculations varied about his next move, he didn't immediately join Sentinels, and it seems likely he's exploring other options. LOUD, despite their notable performance, couldn't clinch the Champions 2023 title, and ending 3rd probably didn't meet their expectations.

Saadhak Continues As IGL

LOUD is using this off-season for some introspection. Bringing back their IGL appears to be an important decision for their rebuild. Matias stepped in after the Sacy-pAncada duo split to join Sentinels, and it seems like LOUD is satisfied with his performance. The initial word was that he might sign with NRG, however, it now that Saadhak will retain his role as IGL for Sentinels this season, that seems rather unlikely.

LOUD Signs Havoc For Their Duelist Slot

Emerging talents often hint at future stars, and LOUD believes they've spotted one in Ilan, also known as Havoc. This young Brazilian player, formerly with The Guard, has been on the radar for a while. At just 17, with evident skills, LOUD's interest in Ilan doesn't come as a surprise. Although the deal isn't official, the whispers and leaks are everywhere, with a LOUD announcement seemingly just around the corner.

Simultaneously, Aspas future, despite the considerable buzz and multiple teams allegedly showing interest, remains a mystery. Sentinels integrated johnqt as their IGL, and with the addition of Zellsis, it seems they're moving forward without Aspas.

The Next Step for Aspas

Word on the street is that Aspas has been testing the waters with numerous teams lately, and here's what's being said:

  • Leviathan seems most likely to onboard Erick after their recent trials.
  • Both NRG & Furia showed interest, but Leviathan appears to be the most likely candidate.

While these bits have some backing from insiders on Twitter, take these rumors as what they are, rumors. Given the dynamic Valorant pro scene, he might surprise everyone with a move to the EMEA region. Regardless, wherever he goes, a legion of Erick fans will follow, and the new team better be ready for the spotlight.
