Rocket League season 12 is right around the corner – Psyonix now released some important details, like the release date, a new car, new arena variant and more!
Every couple of months, a new Rocket League season launches and shakes things up with new items, arenas, and battle cars. In order to jump right in as soon as the new content is released, you'll need to know the release date as well as the exact time when Psyonix usually drops their updates.

Rocket League Season 12: Release Date + Start Time
The new Rocket League season is going to kick off very soon! Psyonix just confirmed that as estimated, Season 12 is going to start September 6, 2023 – so Psyonix continues to follow its 3-month cycle for the release of new seasons.
No matter where in the world you are, these are the release times for Season 12 to keep an eye on:
- NA (West Coast): 8 a.m PST
- NA (East Coast): 11 p.m. EST
- UK: 4 p.m. GMT
- Japan: 1 a.m. JST (following day)
As always, the update should go live at the same time – it doesn't matter which platform you're on or which region you're in. Once your download's complete, you can jump right in and enjoy the show!
And don't worry if you've downloaded the update but still can't join a multiplayer queue – the Rocket League servers might be down. This is often the case after a bigger than normal update or when many players want to join the game simultaneously. Just sit back, relax and think about all the good times you'll have in RL.
Rocket League Season 12: Confirms Porsche 911
Psyonix even released an official teaser trailer for the upcoming season. While the video was short we could already see the Porsche 911 Turbo. Now, we have the full trailer and it shows off all the cool things we're getting this season.
The Porsche 911 has been added in celebration of Porsche's 75th anniversary. The car will have a Dominus hitbox and is the crown jewel of the season. If you can't wait to get your hands on it, then you'll want to pick up the Rocket Pass Premium to unlock this vehicle right away.
Rocket League Season 12 New Additions
Of course the Porsche 911 is cool, but we also mentioned a new map variant, right? That's going to be the next big hit as well. So, let's check out everything you can find in this new season.
- A Brand New Arena Variant - Players can experience a world of digital disruption in Season 12’s new Neo Tokyo (Hacked) Arena variant.
- The Return of Haunted Hallows - The spooky in-game event returns later this season. Stay tuned!
This season will also encompass Halloween, meaning we will have a spooky and scary Halloween event in the game as well. Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait for the spooky season to find out more about this event.
