After the great success last year, Razer has now announced that the Razer Invitational - Europe (RI-Europe) will return on October 14, 2021. The digital event is the largest EU-based, publicly accessible esports tournament of its kind. This year, RI-Europe will include both mobile and PC gaming in order to give even more players the opportunity to compete on a professional level.
The tournament will open with the battle arena shooter Brawl Stars. It continues with two tournaments of the Battle Royale Shooter Fortnite in trio format and a total prize pool of 10,000 euros. Do you want to take part and fight for the big prize money? Then stay tuned!
Razer Invitational - Europe: Fortnite Schedule
There will be two separate Razer Invitational Fortnite tournaments, each running over 3 days and each divided into the open qualifications, the playoffs, and the finals, which take place on the following days:
Fortnite #1
- Open qualifiers: Friday, October 22nd, 4:00 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
- Playoffs (500 best teams): Saturday, October 23, 4:00 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
- Finals (33 best teams): Sunday, October 24th, 4:00 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
Fortnite #2
- Open qualifiers: Friday, October 29th, 4:00 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
- Playoffs (500 best teams): Saturday, October 30th, 4:00 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
- Finals (33 best teams): Sunday, October 31, 4:00 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
Razer Invitational - Europe: Fortnite Points System
The point system is the same for both tournaments. There are 2 points for each elimination. The placement points are divided as follows:
- 1st place: + 4 points
- 2nd place: + 2 points
- 3rd place: + 2 points
- 4th place: +1 points
- 5th place: +1 points
- 6th place: +1 points
- 7th place: +1 points
- 8th place: +1 points
- 9th place: +1 points
- 10th place: + 2 points
- 11th place: +1 points
- 12th place: +1 points
- 13th place: +1 points
- 14th place: +1 points
- 15th place: +1 points
- 16th place: +1 points
- 17th place: +1 points
- 24th place: + 1 points
Razer Invitational - Europe: Fortnite Registration
What are you waiting for? Register now for the Razer Invitational - Europe Fortnite tournaments! To register, you have to follow these steps:
- Go to the War Legend website.
- Create an account at War Legend if you haven't already registered.
- Download the WLS client, which you can find in the top right corner.
- Go to the tournament page of Razer INVITATIONAL - Europe # 1 or Razer INVITATIONAL - Europe # 2 (depending on what you want to register for).
- Join the official Razer Discord server.
- Click on Register.
- Create your team.
Razer Invitational - Europe: Fortnite Prize Money
Let's get to the juicy deets! The prize money will be divided fairly among the trio. And the following prizes await the three best teams from both Fortnite tournaments:
- Place: €2,700
