Razer Invitational - Europe is back and this year again with the battle royale king Fortnite! Who grabbed the prize money of 5,000 euros in the Fortnite # 1 tournament?
After great success last year, the Razer Invitational - Europe tournament series returned on October 14, 2021. The digital event is the largest EU-based, publicly accessible esports tournament of its kind.
It opened with the battle arena shooter Brawl Stars, a fast-paced 3v3 multiplayer and battle royale for mobile. The tournament series continued with the first of two tournaments for the Battle Royale Fortnite. But which teams were able to prevail in the exciting tournament? Here are the winners of the Razer Invitational - Europe Fortnite # 1 Finals.
Razer Invitational - Europe Fortnite # 1 Recap
The first Fortnite tournament started on Friday, October 22nd with the qualifying rounds and ended two days later, on Sunday, October 24th with the finals. 458 teams competed against each other in the trios tourney, of which 183 made it into the playoffs, but only the best 33 teams made it to the finals, in which they competed for a prize pool of 5,000 euros. But there could only be three winning teams.
Meis, rayneel0rd, and kxrv achieved 3rd place with a 2 point lead and a total of 137 points. Magven0m1, Klim41kk, and Prestige secured second place with a total of 152 points. In total, they scored 35 eliminations.
The best team with a total of 246 points comprised raifla, k1nzell, and Jur3ky. These three dominated both the qualifying rounds, the playoffs, and the finals. In the 5 final rounds, they didn't win, but they came second three times, and they achieved a total of 70 eliminations. Yep - 70!
The Prize Money
The following prizes were divided equally between each player among the three best teams:
- 2,700 euros
- 1,500 euros
- 900 euros
