After Goku and Co. from Dragon Ball recently came to Fortnite, Epic Games is starting the next cooperation with NFL and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes!
Patrick Mahome's Icon Series Set will be available in the Item Shop starting Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 02:00 CEST. But you can also get his skin, back bling, and Mystery Sauce emoticon for free by participating in the Patrick Mahomes Cup and being among the top players in your region. Here are all the details.
Patrick Mahomes Cup Format
The Patrick Mahomes Cup takes place on Tuesday 23rd August from 7pm. It's a team tournament played in Fortnite's Build Zero mode. You and your mates can play up to ten matches within a three-hour window in your region.
So grab three mates and train, because it's about to start!
Patrick Mahomes Cup Registration
To participate in the Patrick Mahomes Cup, you and your mates must be in a lobby together. Simply select the Patrick Mahomes Cup in the Fortnite Competitive tab at the start of the tournament and join the queue. Players must have two-factor authentication enabled and verified on their Epic account and be at least account level 50 to participate.
Patrick Mahomes Cup Points Distribution
For each elimination, you and your mates get one point. The placement points look like this:
- Victory Royale: 30 points
- 2nd place: 24 points
- 3rd place: 21 points
- 4th place: 19 points
- 5th place: 17 points
- 6th place: 15 points
- 7th place: 14 points
- 8th place: 13 points
- 9th place: 12 points
- 10th place: 11 points
- 11th place: 10 points
- 12th place: 9 points
- 13th place: 8 points
- 14th place: 7 points
- 15th place: 6 points
- 16th place: 5 points
- 17th place: 4 points
- 18th place: 3 points
- 19th place: 2 points
- 20th place: 1 point
Patrick Mahomes Cup Prizes
The best players in each region can win the Patrick Mahomes outfit and the Gridiron Gladiator back bling. All players who score at least 8 points will also receive the Mystery Sauce emoticon!
