Riot made a lot of changes in the jungle in LoL Patch 13.20, but some of them completely broke the map, which is why the devs had to act quickly to make sure that players could enjoy League without any interuptions.
League of Legends is not without bugs. Sometimes when bigger adjustments and changes get patched, new bugs can appear and disrupt the player experience. That exact thing happened when LoL Patch 13.20 went live, with some major issues.
It seemed that for some players, parts of the jungle did not spawn correctly, nor that they were earning experience from camp kills. Thankfully, the dev team stepped in and quickly added in a hotfix to make sure not more players were affected by these issues.
LoL Patch 13.20: Jungle Hotfix Added After Map Issues Arise
In LoL Patch 13.20, Riot made multiple changes to the jungle role. Now that all the balance for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship has been done, it's time to prepare for the 2024 LoL Preseason which will take hold soon and, of course, we're getting a lot of jungle changes once more.
To try and combat snowballing, as well as to tone down the power of the jungle role in League of Legends, the balance team has made multiple changes, but those also resulted in some weird bugs appearing.
Players noticed that some plants were misplaced on Summoner's Rift and sometimes the plants were even missing completely.

It was also noticed by some that if they killed a jungle camp and moved too far from it, they would not be getting their experience, as noted in this Reddit post. This impacted champions like Master Yi and Shaco. Imagine using a Shaco box to kill a camp and not getting the experience for it... feels bad, eh?
Thankfully, the balance team went to work quickly to fix these issues since they were pretty impactful and could hinder junglers from playing the game how they want. The official League of Legends Dev Twitter did reveal that the issue has been fixed with the hotfix patch, so players should be able to go back to normal.
