In the most recent patch, Tryndamere got an interesting buff that has quickly made him one of the best, if not the best, top lane champion in the game right now.

It's only been a few days since the release of the patch and Tryndamere is already becoming one of the most feared champions. Not only because of the buff, but also thanks to how simple the champion is to play.

Not only has Tryndamere received a buff to his attack range, but Riot also added in a slight increase to his AD. All of this has come together perfectly, with Riot creating a literal monster right now.

Sick and tired of League of Legends? Then make sure to pick up a new game , which is just as infuriating as League!

These were the buffs for Tryndamere in LoL Patch 13.17:

  • Attack Range: 125 ⇒ 175
  • Attack Damage: 72 ⇒ 68

According to League of Legends stat site lolalytics, Tryndamere has had a significant increase in win rate since the change, now sitting at over 53%. In the previous Patch 13.16 he was at a mere 50% win rate.

His mid lane numbers are even more impressive with him almost sitting at a 54% win rate right now. This makes him one of the strongest picks all over the map right now. Add in how simple he is to play and you've got one hell of an OP champion.

Whether Riot will keep Tryndamere at this level or nerf him is yet to be determined, but it seems like his win rate has dropped a little since the release of the patch, so maybe the balance team is waiting for it to even itself out as the League of Legends patch progresses.
