Riot just revealed the newest skins for LoL Patch 13.17 and they're bringing back the cosmic universe with this one. So, which champions made the list of skins?
Riot Games just revealed their next set of skins. We're going back to an old skins universe that we have visited multiple times already, but why fix something that ain't broke, right? Right. So, we're getting brand-new Cosmic skins to add to the collection.
Not only did Riot reveal the new skins, but a new chroma has also been added into the preview this time around for one of the best, if not the best skin in the entire game – Dark Cosmic Jhin.
LoL Cosmic Skins: Champions
Five new skins have been revealed on the official League of Legends Twitter account. The champions chosen for this skin line are unique and interesting, offering skins to champions that don't always get new skins.
- Cosmic Nautilus
- Cosmic Matriarch Bel'Veth
- Cosmic Paladin Nunu & Willump
- Cosmic Sion
- Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin

Bel'Veth will finally receive her second skin, a year after her release. Honestly, this is such a great skin concept for her though, with cosmic horror being part of her initial design.
New Skin Tier Revealed With Cosmic Skins
Originally, most people thought the final skin shown in the list would be a mythic chroma for the already impeccable Dark Cosmic Jhin. It's been revealed though by the official LoL Dev Twitter that this is not the case.
There had been rumours that Riot was working on a new skin tier between Legendary and Ultimate, so we could be seeing that right here. We will be getting more information soonn though according to Riot.

These skins are all going to be epic tier skins, which means you can pick them up in the League of Legends skin shop for 1350 RP. There is no prestige, nor legendary amongst this group of skins this time around.
As for the Jhin skin, we still don't know what Riot has planned for it and how much this skin will be. Is it a normal legendary skin or does Riot intend to up the price on this one?
Will We Have A Cosmic Skin Event?
There will not be an event, nor a skin showcase for these skins. With the Soul Fighter Event just finishing up, as well as a Skin Showcase for the most recent Immortal Journey skins, these will not have any special events surrounding them and should just be added into the skin shop once they're released.

When Will the Cosmic Skins Release?
These skins will release in LoL Patch 13.17. This means that they will be made available on August 31, 2023. The Patch is going live on August 30, but skins usually need a day before they are made available for purchase.
Since we have not received a skin for the upcoming champion Briar, but we know she should be coming soon, thanks to some leaked assets, we do believe she will be made available in LoL Patch 13.18.
