It's safe to say that the Coven skins are some of the most popular in League of Legends. This is why their return was eagerly awaited. Now, Riot Games has finally revealed the upcoming batch of skins in a short teaser trailer.
Riot Games just revealed their newest skin release in a moody teaser trailer! The rumors have been around for almost two months, but not it's confirmed: The Coven skin line will return in 2023, and we won't have to wait for long until their release.
A few hours before the trailer dropped, the League of Legends community already caught wind of it. The Vietnamese LoL channel accidentally set the trailer to premiere at 4 p.m. on September 25. Now, it has been officially released, so who will get a Coven skin, and when are they dropping?
LoL Coven Skins: All Champions Getting Skins
Thanks to leaks and the teaser trailer they released, we already knew before their official reveal, which champions would be joining the Coven universe:
- Coven Nilah
- Coven Elise
- Coven Syndra
- Coven Nami
- Coven Akali
- Coven Akali Prestige Edition
- Old God Mordekaiser
There's no doubt about it: The Coven universe is one of the most fascinating and aesthetically pleasing ones Riot Games has ever created. There's no doubt that the Skins Team will match their previous creations with these new entries.
The two highlights in this release are definitely Coven Nami and of course Old God Mordekaiser. Is there any other champion you'd rather pick for an Old God skin than Mordekaiser? No? That's what I thought! Nami will be on the receving end of a legendary skin this time around!
League of Legends: How Much Will The New Coven Skins Cost?
We're once again looking at mostly epic tier skins that will set you back 1350 RP. The only exceptions will be Nami, of course, since she is receving a legendary skin, and Akali's Prestige Edition. This will be Nami's first, being priced at 1820 RP, as legendaries usually are. Akali's Prestige will be available for 125 ME inside the Mythic Shop.
After the rumors of a possible Coven comeback in 2023 surfaced among the LoL community, there was a fierce competition going on between Syndra and Nami mains, as to who should receive a legendary skin. It would have been Syndra's first as well, but we're sure that she will receive one eventually. Everything else would be a great injustice to her!

When Will The New LoL Coven Skins Release?
The Coven skins will hit the PBE server on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. This sets them up for a release with League of Legends Patch 13.20. We already know the La Ilusión skins will hit live servers with 13.19, so Coven skins for 13.20 it is!
A release with LoL Patch 13.20 also means the Coven skins will release right before Worlds 2023, setting them up for being the skin line that will accompany the Worlds 2023 Event. A fitting skin line for such a big occasion, right?
