Modern Warfare 3 was revealed in an epic in-game event in Warzone and can now be preordered via Battle.net, Steam, PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store as well as on Amazon and at every other video game retailer. As usual, we again have the choice of three editions:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Standard Edition
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Cross-Gen Edition
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Vault Edition
Here is what you can expect when buying each edition of the game:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Standard Edition
This Edition will include the game and some nice preorder bonuses. For $69.99 you will get the following:
- Base Game
- Early Access to the Open Beta
- Campaign Early Access up to a week
- Soap Operator Pack for immediate use in MW2 and Warzone
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Cross-Gen Edition (Console only)
On consoles, Modern Warfare 3 will only be available in the Cross-Gen Bundle or the Vault Edition. But don't worry, the Cross-Gen Bundle costs exactly the same as a normal full price game. The Cross-Gen Bundle will cost you $79.99 and include the following:
- Base Game for PS4 and PS5 / Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S
- Early Access to the Open Beta
- Campaign Early Access up to a week
- Soap Operator Pack for immediate use in MW2 and Warzone

If you are a CoD die-hard fan, this will be for you. The Vault Edition is once again the Ultimate Edition of Call of Duty and will cost you $99.99 on PC and $109.99 on console. If you preorder this edition, you will get the following:
