Lukas Ballat

Lukas studied English and history to become a teacher at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, and wrote his thesis about the construction of history in video games. As a passionate gamer, he started working at EarlyGame directly after graduation and delivers the hottest Call of Duty news and guides on a daily basis. He also takes care of partner projects as well as hardware and affiliate marketing.

In the course of his work, he regularly visits GamesCom and Call of Duty events, where he gets the latest info directly from the source in numerous interviews.

If he's not playing CoD or Battlefield, you can probably find him suffering through pretty much every Souls-like out there. Lukas also loves Crash Bandicoot or gets lost in dull Diablo grind from time to time. To let out the aggression pent-up by the countless video game deaths, he regularly plays the drums and gives free rein to his love of hard metal.

Right now, Lukas is playing Modern Warfare 3 and waiting for the first Elden Ring DLC to finally arrive.
