LoL Worlds 2023 is going to be held in South Korea this year and the event will be capped off with an insane performance by one of the hottest K-pop groups in the world right now – NewJeans. The young girls have been chosen to perform the LoL Worlds 2023 anthem, but when can we expect to hear the new song?

It seems that it's finally been revealed where the 'biggest budget ever' went this year, with the inclusion of NewJeans in the World Championship, eh? So how much longer do we have to wait for the new anthem?

LoL Worlds 2023 Anthem: Release Date Of "GODS" By NewJeans

This year's LoL Worlds anthem is going to be performed by NewJeans, who have become the biggest K-pop group of 2023. While many fans still hope for a boy group to debut this year, due to K-pop group ATEEZ visiting Riot studio earlier this year, we have the song GODS confirmed.

The music video of the Worlds anthem this year will follow the story of 2022 League of Legends World Champion, Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu who is one of the most well-known League of Legends players in the world, having managed to win every trophy possible already.

The song "GODS" by NewJeans is set to debut on October 4, 2023. The current countdown on YouTube to the video is set for 6:57 am CEST // 0:57 am EST. The video will likely debut so early in the morning because the World Championship is going to be held in South Korea.

We will also be getting a countdown on YouTube, hence why the time is set for 6:57. The actual video will most likely drop at 7 am CEST. So, how ready are you for the biggest esports event? This year's song seems a lot heavier than the one from 2022 so it'll be exciting to see what Riot and NewJeans drop for LoL fans worldwide.
