Lil Nas X and Riot Games have teamed up for one of the biggest collaborations in League of Legends history. Not only is Lil Nas X going to perform the LoL Worlds 2022 Anthem, but he's also become the actual president of League of Legends. So, what does this new job title mean for the company?
New skins. Sure, the idea of Nudyr is fun, and we are 100% behind it, but it seems that we are going to have to wait a bit longer until we get this one specific skin, and we're going to have to make do with the upcoming Prestige skin for K'Sante, the newest top laner in League of Legends.
K'Sante to Release With Prestige Skin
In the press release regarding the collab between Riot Games and Lil Nas X, we found out quite a bit regarding the new skin, the new champion and just what this partnership could entail. So let's jump into the key facts right now and what you guys can look forward to.
The new champion K'Sante is still going to be released this year. Like Rell in 2020, he's going to be released at the end of the season. We predict it to release around LoL Patch 12.21 since the official release date for the K'Sante prestige skin, which Lil Nas X worked on, was revealed to release on November 3, 2022.
LoL Patch 12.21 drops on November 2, 2022 and skins usually make it into the client a day after the patch is released. This means that K'Sante will be released in LoL Patch 12.21, and he's going to get the 'Empyrean K'Sante' skin, as well as a prestige edition.
Players will be able to pick up the prestige skin between November 3, 2022 and November 14, 2022 with the event tokens of the LoL Worlds Event 2022 – which could be Spirit Blossom themed!

Now, this is just speculation, but with the champion releasing on November 2, 2022 and the League of Legends World Championship coming to a close November 5, 2022... we might see this champion during the opening ceremony in San Francisco.
