DRX won the 2022 League of Legends World Championship. Every player on the team got to choose a champion of their choice to receive an esports skin, just as in previous years. This year, Riot is even changing things up, adding a prestige edition to the mix as well.

DRX took home the trophy in 2022 and therefore the six players (since their substitute also played enough games) got to choose which champions will receive skins for the 2022 World Championship. Now, we might finally know when the skins should release.

LoL: DRX World Championship Skins Release Window Revealed

Hanwha Life top laner, Kingen, revealed in a recent stream the release window for the upcoming DRX skins. As usual, these skins should release around half a year to seven months after the team initially won the World Championship.

This year, DRX will receive their World Championship skins and former top DRX top laner Kingen revealed in a stream that the skins should come within a month, so around June 2023. This is similar to previous years, where the World Championship skins released around June.

Potential DRX Skin Champions

Which champions will be getting skins though? Of course, nothing is set into stone until the skins actually release, but until now it's looking like these are the champions that DRX have chosen for their skins – with a BeryL waifu skin in the mix again.

  • Kingen: Aatrox
  • Pyosik: Kindred
  • Zeka: Akali
  • Deft: Caitlyn
  • BeryL: Ashe
  • Juhan (Substitute): Moakai

The Maokai, Kindred, Ashe and Aatrox skins are basically confirmed by this point, so we doubt that Zeka's Akali and Deft's Caitlyn are also going to change with the release of the skins in June.

You can expect the skins to be released on June 1, 2023, according to Kingen. We should find out more about the upcoming prestige skin. Will it be the Finals MVP Aatrox or the veteran and icon Deft's Caitlyn?
