The Call Limit Reached Error is a Rocket League problem that has existed for what seems like a millennium. It stops players from being able to play Rocket League, and is a royal pain in our proverbial. Thus, I wish to say this: god dang it, Psyonix, the game's six bloody years old now. Get your bollocks together, so we can stop repeatedly having to explain to people: How to fix the Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League. Jeez.

What is the Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League?

The Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League is an issue caused by excessive server load. It stops players from being able to play online. Following Rocket League's move to a free-to-play model back in September of 2020, the Call Limit Reached Error became a massive problem. The error hasn't been so prominent as of late, with it peaking around Season 3 and 4, but it still hasn't been fixed in its entirety.

The reality is that Psyonix must be experiencing an insane volume of players on their servers right now. This is because, if you are experiencing the Rocket League Call Limit Reached Error, then something must be causing it. It seems that despite Epic Games now providing server support, Call Limit Reached is not off the table just yet. A surprise? Not really, to be honest...

Can I Fix the Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League?

The Rocket League Call Limit Reached Error regrettably cannot be fixed by the user, as the error is linked to problems with Rocket League's server capacity. It is quite frustrating, though, especially if you haven't read our article (heh, I'm funny), because the error message itself provides basically no information. Wouldn't it be easy for Psyonix to at least provide some brief explanations when error messages rear their ugly head?

The only thing we can suggest is re-logging into the game, which seems to help from time to time. By resetting, you might get catapulted into the servers, despite their capacity being overloaded. Sadly, in Rocket League you cannot swap between servers, desperately searching for an available one. Maybe keep an eye on Rocket League's Twitter, as they will share ongoing server problems there.

So, this is a little upsetting, isn't it? Don't be too sad about the Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League, though. You might not be able to play the game right now, but remember that this won't last. In the meantime, you could go to the shop, buy a pizza, eat the pizza, take a joy-ride, buy some Mountain Dew, dip a pretzel in it, and say "G'day, mate" to a Seagull. In other words, don't worry about Rocket League error codes. There's more to life. For example, you could always go and eat a pizza... or play a different game...
