HoYoverse is spoiling their community with new characters each and every version! After about half a year, we are now already at 32 playable characters! However, what can HoYoverse surprise us with now and are they possibly running out of ideas?
Honkai Star Rail has a super wide variety of weapon types, and I am not talking about Light Cones! More of a melee kind of player? Sword and spear characters may be your cup of tea! Or do you prefer ranged attacks? Star Rail has amazing bow and catalyst wielders as well! You can even use a gun, a fan or a pocket chainsaw!
However, there is one type of units who uses other characters as their weapons: summoners. Clara is the only summoner Star Rail has to offer right now, but that might change in the near future!

Honkai Star Rail: Sam Will Be Clara 2.0 – Just Reversed!
Through trailers, music, or the lore from books and voice lines, several future Honkai Star Rail characters have already been leaked. Take Jingliu for example: She was first seen in a short film, which was released to introduce Jing Yuan back in version 1.1!
And there is actually another character, who got mentioned quite often throughout the Stellaron Hunters story line and, just as Jingliu, was shown in an event trailer!
The Very First Stellaron Hunter
The very first Stellaron Hunter Sam was first show during the “Myriad Celestia Trailer – The Jepella Rebellion” video on the official Star Rail YouTube channel!

And, did you find Sam?
Yep, the huge guy in the mecha uniform! A pretty cool detail is, that Silver Wolf is the only one, who thinks Sam is a humanoid robot! Everyone else believes, he is a normal human inside a metal armor. Sam's lore and connections are actually fascinating! You can check out more about Sam right here:
Sam And Firefly
Just recently, new information got leaked regarding Sam and his future gameplay kit. Well to be quite fair, the leaks do not exactly show him but rather what seems to be his weapon: Firefly.
It is important to note, that these are just speculations based on gameplay leaks, however it does seem to be confirmed, that Firefly will be Sam's summon! (How cute is that?!)
This is what her model looks like as of right now:
Firefly is, unlike Sam, a human who is not wearing any armor whatsoever. This makes Sam and Firefly the exact opposite of Clara and Svarog! I think that is a pretty cool twist, however, this little girl does not seem like a big fighter! It's rather possible, that Sam has a built-in buffer and support, being Firefly.
