By now, Honkai Star Rail has already been released four months ago and has introduced many players worldwide to a whole new universe. That however only goes for PC and mobile players, since HoYoverse is taking their time to finally launch the game on the PlayStation 5.

Honkai Star Rail On PlayStation 5: How To Register For The Technical Test
Around three years ago, when Genshin Impact got released, HoYoverse also took over six months to make their then-new game available for the console market. This time around they seem to manage that issue at least a bit faster!
On August 23, HoYoverse announced via Twitter, that the Honkai Star Rail Technical Test Recruitment has finally opened its gates and players have now the chance to register for the upcoming trial!
The recruitment phase has already started today, a few hours ago and will go on for around five days until August 27, 7:00 p.m. PDT / August 28, 4:00 a.m. CEST / 10:00 a.m. CST.
Shortly after the registration period ends, the chosen players can enter the test phase on September 3, 7:00 p.m. PDT / September 4, 4:00 a.m. CEST / 10:00 a.m. CST.

The duration of the test phase is still unknown. Hopefully HoYoverse will give the players long enough time so that the test can fulfill its purpose and everything runs smoothly when the game finally releases on PlayStation 5.
