Honkai Star Rail Jingliu Build: Light Cone & Team Comp
The Star Rail character roster will, once again, be expanded with the next version 1.4! The first half of said update will feature Jingliu! She is a 5-Star character, who follows the path of The Destruction and deals Ice damage.

We were able to spot Jingliu several times during the Star Rail story! She plays a key role in the story of Xianzhuo Lufuo and influenced many other characters with her incredible sword techniques!
Jingliu was once a swords master of the Cloud Knights and a teacher to Jing Yuan! However, once she got stricken with Mara, she turned against the people she loved the most. Nevertheless, that doesn't stop her from being a master, since she taught Blade how to wield his sword as well! This can be recognized by the fact that Blade holds his sword in the same unusual pose as Jingliu herself!

Jingliu Best Build
In order to make your build as good as possible, you should aim to give your character a 4-piece set together with a 2-piece set! If there is no other option, you can also try to build three 2-piece sets. Luckily, Jingliu has a perfect 4-piece option!
Building Jingliu Relic wise is pretty straightforward, since she basically needs all the typical hyper carry stats. Although, hitting those lucky rolls is far from easy …

This is by far her best Relic option:
- 4-piece: Hunter of Glacial Forest
- 2-piece: Space Stealing Station / Rutilant Arena

Best Stats For Jingliu
The right sub(stats) are just as important as the correct set! You should aim for the following stats:
- Body: Crit Rate% / Crit DMG%
- Boots: ATK% / SPD
- Planar Sphere: Elemental DMG / ATK%
- Link Rope: ATK% / Break Effect%
- Overall Sub Stat Prio: Crit Rate% / Crit DMG% → ATK% → SPD → ATK → Break Effect%

Luckily, there have been some awesome new Destruction character in the past, which means there a more than enough 5-Star Light Cone options for Jingliu as well!
5-Star Light Cones
1. I Shall Be My Own Sword
Whenever a new 5-Star character gets released, HoYoverse also brings out a signature 5-Star Light Cone! For Jingliu, her weapon's name is “I Shall Be My Own Sword” and provides her with all the stats she could ever imagine!
I Shall Be My Own Sword has the following effect:
- Increases the wearer's Crit DMG by 20%. When ally gets attacked or loses HP, wearer gains 1 stack of Eclipse, up to a max of 3 stack(s). Each stack of Eclipse will increase the DMG of the wearer's next attack by 14%. When 3 stack(s) are maxed out, an additional attack will be delivered that ignores 12% of the enemy's DEF. This effect will be dispelled after the wearer delivers their attack. (S1)
Next up is Dan Heng IL's signature Light Cone!
2. Brighter Than the Sun
Even if Brighter Than the Sun is Dan Heng IL's weapon, it still fits Jingliu quite well! Especially with the main effect being increased Crit Rate, this weapon is usable on every singe Destruction DPS.
Brighter Than the Sun has the following effect:
- Increases the wearer's Crit Rate by 18%. When the wearer uses their Basic ATK, they will gain 1 stack of Dragon's Call, lasting for 2 turns. Each Stack of Dragon's Call increases the wearer's ATK by 18% and Energy Regeneration Rate by 6.0%. Dragon's Call may be stacked up to 2 times. (S1)

4-Star Light Cones
1. Under the Blue Sky
Not only is the picture of this gun to die for cute, it also has a pretty good effect. A little more Crit Rate never hurts, really! Under the Blue Sky is for sure you go to option, if you decide to skip Jingliu's signature weapon!
Under the Blue Sky has the following effect:
- Increases the wearer's ATK by 16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer's Crit Rate increases by 12% for 3 turn(s). (S1)
There really isn't any other usable 4-star Light Cones as of right now, however, HoYoverse will most definitely release some more in the near future!
Jingliu Team Comp
Since Jingliu is meant to be a DPS unit, you can build an incredible amount of teams with her! To conclude this little guide, let's check out a super whale team for her and a more free-to-play friendlier freeze option!
Big Money = Big Damage
Why this comp is called big money = big damage? Well, let's say you need to have a good amount of luck to have all these 5-Stars without ever spending a singe penny.
However, once you build this hyper carry Jingliu team, she will deal massive damage, especially with Bronya's Crit DMG buff! If you had luck with your standard banner units, you may be able to have all these units!
Jingliu Freeze
I do find this team in particular interesting, though! Freeze is a super annoying mechanic, which makes you unable to react for a long time. However, this works just as well with opponents!
How are your opponents supposed to inflict damage if they don't even get to move? Especially in a turn based game like Honkai star is, this can mean certain destruction!
