The most recent addition to the Honkai Star Rail lineup is the former swords master Jingliu. Next to her exceptional fun gameplay, she is one of the best looking Star Rail characters as of right now, even through you can’t see the best part of her face: her eyes! Luckily, players quickly found a bug, which allows you to take off Jingliu's mask for good!
Ever since version 1.1 of Honkai Star Rail, Jingliu was one of the most anticipated characters to come out. After we could see her in some cinematics and short films, players couldn’t wait for her official release.
During all this time of waiting, however, there was one detail of her design that would haunt the community in particular: Will Jingliu keep her blindfold? — Yes! After yesterday's release, it is certain to say, HoYoverse decided to cover Jingliu's eyes even in her playable version. However, there is an easy to recreate bug, in order to remove said mask for good, via the in game camera!

But this is where the opinion of the community is divided: On the one hand, there are many agree with HoYoverse decision, because it is so much more in line with her lore. Others, however, would have preferred her without a mask, especially because you could already see her beautiful bright red eyes in one of the trailers.

Do you prefer seeing her eyes or keep them hidden?
To the delight of those who would have liked to see Jingliu's eyes, a bug was discovered a few hours ago that allows you to simply remove the said black mask! This is of course not intended by HoYoverse, but it works very reliably! We will show you how to get rid of her mask just down below!
How To Remove Jingliu's Mask
If you want to permanently remove Jingliu's blindfold, follow these few steps:
1. Hit ESC and enter the camera menu.
2. Open the camera settings in the top left corner and hit “Turn character around” twice superfast!
3. While your character is turning, switch to the second tab and select Jingliu's second idle stance and exit the camera.
And that's about it! During her second idle animation, Jingliu takes off her mask and if you hit the perfect timing for exiting the camera, she basically gets stuck in her stance, while her blindfold is taken off!
To be quite fair, HoYoverse should just make this a real in game toggle, so players can decide if they want Jingliu with or without her mask. Personally I prefer her with her blindfold on, however I do admit, her eyes look absolutely stunning!
