Getting to fight new weekly bosses in Genshin Impact is always super exciting! There is a lot of easy and not challenging content out there and a new boss is at least somewhat hard if you aren’t a huge whale! However, this “new” one looks oddly familiar, at least from afar.
It was just a matter of time that Genshin Impact's new region Fontaine gets an awesome, new weekly boss! Without getting too much ahead of ourselves, let's hope you are prepared to fight the Fatui again …
During the next update 4.2, the new weekly boss will be added into the game, however, there is one detail that piques the community's interest.

Genshin Impact: The New Weekly Boss Looks Oddly Familiar
Since the release of Genshin Impact in 2020, a total of eight weekly bosses have been added to the game. Weekly bosses are higher difficulty enemies that drop valuable items that you need in order to level up your own characters.
The first one was Dvalin back in 2020 right when the game released. You can find him in Stormterror's Lair, Mondstadt.
Childe's Comeback In Fontaine
Disclaimer: This is highly speculative.
The previous weekly bosses were always very closely linked to the history of the associated area. A good example is the Mikoto, End of the Oneiric Euthymia fight in Inazuma or the Shouki, Joururi workshop in Sumeru!
And to be quite honest, I couldn't really think of someone from Fontaine, who would fit the role of the enemy for a new weekly boss. (Well maybe Furina, I guess …) However, a recently leaked video of said fight, hints towards a certain someone, who we already fought against back in Liyue!

Okay, hear me out: The attack pattern, the appearance, the color scheme, the stance, the cape (especially the cape), the story relevanz AND the electro element? If that isn't another Childe boss fight, I don't know what to believe in anymore.

Regarding the story, is does make sense that Childe could be featured in yet again another weekly boss fight! This guy is really nothing but trouble, no matter where he is in Teyvat! …
To be fair, the video isn't that good quality wise, and it could for sure be someone else, but the similarities are definitely there! (Look at the cape.)
Since Childe already has two forms in the boss fight in Liyue, it's really not far-fetched that this could be his final form, which is super exciting in my opinion! Let's wait and see how the Fontaine Archon Quest plays out from here on and if the eleventh Fatui Harbingers wants to face us again!
