Genshin Impact: What's The House Of The Hearth And Why It Is Important
The House Of The Hearth is a line of orphanages led and managed by the Fatui that are spread all over Teyvat. At the moment, the only known location of it is in Fontaine, in the Bouffes d'ete. Its leader is Arlecchino, who we can expect to see in the Fontaine Archon Quest soon, but it was founded by an unknown, previous Knave. Children who grow up in these orphanages never really manage to cut their ties to the Fatui – they either join the organization once they are old enough, still give them some kind of information or simply dissappear.
It is safe to say that, even though Lyney, Lynette and Freminet see themselves as a family, they most likely aren't related by blood. If you only look at them from the outside, it's really clear that Freminet isn't even as tightly connected to Lyney and Lynette, often finding himself very isolated.
I don't like thinking about my time in the House of the Hearth under the previous director. All I'll say is... My habit of retreating into the sea started back then. Even though Arlecchino is a female, the children of the House of the Hearth only refer to her as "Father", because their mother will always be the Tsaritsa. All children from this orphanage have the surnames "Snezhevich" and "Snezhevna".
