Genshin Impact: Furina – Everything You Need To Know
Before we look at what would be the best way to build Furina and which weapon suits her particularly well, we should first take a look at when we can get her in the first place!
Furina Release Date
Furina will be a 5-Star character, who uses the element Hydro! Next to that, she will be an HP scaling sword wielder. The Hydro Archon will be featured in the banner, which releases in version 4.2, starting on November 8, 2023.

Furina has certainly not an ordinary personality, but she always has a seemingly clever advice for you! This is usually only partially helpful, but at least she tries her best. Although she is considered to be the god of justice, it is probably Neuvillette who ensures law and order in Fontaine. Unlike in other areas, Furina rather takes the role of a superstar instead of a ruler and many people do admire her.
It seems that Furina herself has a dark secret, which we will soon find out about in the story quest itself. Besides that, it seems that she is not the real Archon after all! This would at least explain her strange behavior …

Auto Attack: Soloist's Solicitation
Normal Attack
- Furina performs up to four strikes.
Charged Attack
- Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash a solo dance.
- Deals Physical damage to nearby opponents and changing her Arkhe alignment.
- If “Salon Solitaire” is present, their lineup will switch.
Arkhe: Seats Sacred and Secular
- When Furina's Normal Attacks hit, a Surging Blade or a Spiritbreath Thorn will descend based on her current alignment. It deals Hydro damage based on her current alignment.
Plunging Attack
- When jumping off a higher place, Furina plunges to the ground, dealing AOE damage.

Elemental Skill: Salon Solitaire
Invites the guests of the Salon Solitaire to come forth and abet in Furina's performance. Will summon either the Salon Members or the Singers of the Streams based on Furina's current Arkhe alignment.
Ousia
- Will summon “Salon Members”: attack nearby opponents at intervals, prioritizing the target of the active character, dealing Hydro Damage based on Furina's Max HP.
- If characters with more than 50% HP is nearby, the Members will consume these characters' HP and increase their current attack's power based on the number of characters who have given their HP.
Pneuma
- Will summon “Singers of the Streams”: will heal nearby active character(s) based on Furina's Max HP.
Salon Members and Singers of the Streams share a duration, and when Furina uses her Charged Attack to change the guest type, the new guests will inherit the initial duration.
Elemental Burst: Let the People Rejoice
- create a stage of foam that will deal AoE Hydro Damage based on Furina's Max HP and cause all party members to enter the “Universal Revelry” state.
- Universal Revelry: When nearby party members' HP increases or decreases, they will grant Furina one Fanfare point based on the percentage by which their Max HP changed.

Furina's Artifacts
After we read and understood Furina's kit, it is safe to say, that she profits off of an HP focused build. In general, She is probably comparable to Yelan, who is also Hydro HP scaling. Just like what you would build for Yelan, Furina can also build CRIT stats as well.
Furina's best Artifact set
#1. Golden Troupe
It is pretty obvious, that Furina's kit is perfect for one of the two new Fontaine Artifact sets. In her case, it would be the “Golden Troupe” set! Since it looks like, that Furina will deal most of her damage with her Elemental Skill, this set suits her more than well! If you have the 4-set bonus, your skill will deal 70% more damage!

This makes up for the lack of supports, who buff HP scaling characters, such as Furina will be.
Golden Troupe effect:
- 2-piece: Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 20%.
- 4-piece: Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 25%. Additionally, when not on the field, Elemental Skill DMG will be further increased by 25%.
This set could have her name on it, that's how perfect it fits for her kit!
#2. Vourukasha's Glow
Vourukasha's Glow is another possible set for Furina, since it also provides Elemental Skill damage buffs. Even though this buff is a little less than with the Golden Troupe set, you get additional HP with this option!
Vourukasha's Glow effect:
- 2-piece: HP + 20%
- 4-piece: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, the aforementioned DMG bonus is increased by 80% for 5 sec.
However, if you want to farm particularly for Furina, you should definitely stay with Golden Troupe!
Furina's Best Weapon
Just like all previous 5-Star units, the Hydro Archon gets of course her own signature weapon! In the case of Furina, this will be a sword. (A especially pretty one to mention that).
Personally, I love her weapon more than the character itself. It looks so different from all other existing swords and looks much more like a rapier than an actual sword.
Furina's signature weapon will be called “Splendor of Still Waters”, and has CRIT DMG as its secondary stat. This is quite surprising, since she loves HP so much.
Splendor of Still Waters stats and effect:
- Base ATK: 542
- Second stat: 88.2% CRIT DMG
Effect: Splendor of Still Waters increases the user's Elemental Skill DMG by 8% for 6s whenever there is a change in their HP. This effect can be stacked up to three times.
What a perfect fit, isn't it?
Another fantastic option for her is “Festering Desire”. — Yep, that event weapon from version 1.3 … Unfortunately even though it is technically a free to play option, it can't be obtained anymore. Means, luck you, if you already played back then, since it is the second-best option for Furina.
