Fortnite has hosted a spooky event around Halloween time every year for years, often with challenges, free rewards, and zombies or monsters roaming the island. But what does Epic have planned for us this year? Let's dive into the Fortnitemares Event 2023.
Fortnitemares 2023 Start: Fortnite Halloween Event Begins In Mid-October
The Fortnitemares event will start in mid-October like every year, but no exact start date is known yet. However, we suspect that the event will start around October 18, 2023, similar to last year.

Fortnite leaker HYPEX has found a new weapon called Vampire Shotgun in the files. These are its stats:

- Reload Time: 4s
- Fire Rate: 1.3
- Damage: 92
- Headshot Damage: 161 Headshot

According to iFireMonkey, Jumpscare zombie chickens will be back this year as well. Yep... read that right. The terrible fowl returns.
