Before the end of Fortnite Season 3, you should complete the last missions of the season to finish your Battle Pass. And this week, one of the challenges is to help collect Battle Supplies. But first, you need to know what Combat Caches are. We'll explain what they are and show you how to find them.

Fortnite: Combat Caches Explained

Combat Caches in Fortnite are special containers that were added to the game with the launch of Chapter 4 Season 2. They appear from a crack in the sky and hit the ground after a short time.

They have a visible beacon in the color of the rarity of their loot. When a player interacts with a Combat Cache, they claim it, after which a timer begins until it opens.

While this takes time and attracts enemies, it is also worth it! Because after the timer expires, he drops at least 2 Slurp Juices, weapons, consumables, and materials. Each drop is "Legendary" from the start, but changes its rarity after a while to "Epic" and finally to "Rare" depending on when it is claimed.

Fortnite: Where To Find Combat Caches

The Combat Caches don't spawn right when the game starts, but only after some time. Like the battle supplies, they never appear in a fixed location but always in a random position. As soon as they appear, all nearby players will be notified about the supplies by a card icon and an indicator on the screen.

We recommend that you stay in the center of the map near a rift or with a vehicle, as this is the easiest place to drive to each location once a Combat Cache spawns.

Also, make sure to be equipped with enough weapons, as it's quite possible that enemies will also appear during the supply drop. The goal of the quest from Week 9 is to collect 3 Combat Caches. Once you've done that, you'll receive 40,000 XP for your Battle Pass.
