Until 30 September 2023, a month of EA Play is only €0.99/£0.79 on the PS Store, so you can play EA FC 24, cancel your subscription and see if it's worth buying.
You don't have to pre-order EA FC 24 to access the Early Access trial. If you sign up for EA Play, you will receive a 10% discount on pre-orders. So it could be worth it. And you can extend the trial from 10 to 20 hours, we'll get to that in a minute.

If you're pondering about the 'missing' ten-hour trial early access, rest assured, it's a non-issue with the EA Play Pro subscription. The Ultimate Edition allows you to dive into the game as soon as it releases, eliminating the ten-hour playtime restriction.
However, there are platform limitations to the expensive subscription model.
EA Play Trial For EA FC 24: Release Date, Start Time & Platforms
Early Access has been available since 22 September, when the Ultimate Edition was released. The EA Play Trial was unlocked at midnight.
If you're planning to pre-order the Ultimate Edition anyway, Early Access isn't really worth it. The in-game progress you make with the EA Play trial will carry over to the full version if you decide to purchase it.
EA Play is available for PlayStation, PC and Xbox. EA Play Pro is available on PC only. Only PC users can play the full version of the Ultimate Edition with the expensive subscription model.
How To Get The 10-Hour Early Access For EA FC 24 With EA Play Trial:
- Go to the EA Play page
- Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe to the service
- Go to the store on your console and search for "EA Sports FC 24".
- Select one of the editions and then select 'Trial'.
For those of you who prefer not to invest in EA FC 24 upfront, there'encouraging news: the forthcoming EA game is anticipated to be incorporated entirely within Microsoft's Game Pass and your EA Play subscription. However, there is a considerable waiting period.
FIFA 23 was added to the Play List on May 16, 2023, indicating that it's likely you'll need to wait until 2024 to play EA FC 24 at no extra cost.
How To Extend The EA Play Trial For EA FC 24: How To Get 20 Hours of Early Access
There's a simple way to extend or even double the trial phase for EA FC 24. EA has provided both versions for download on both Current-Gen and Old-Gen. You can do the following to squeeze out another ten hours:
- Download the EA FC 24 trial version on your console
- Look for the respective other version (For PS5, you can download the PS4 version and vice versa – same goes for Xbox)
- Start only one of the two versions and play until the ten hours are up
- Choose the second version and play another ten hours
As soon as you activate the ten-hour EA Play Trial, a timer starts counting down, which you should always keep an eye on. So, don't waste too much time in the menu and always close the game completely when you stop, so the timer doesn't keep running.
