The battle for licences and rights has begun! Electronic Arts and FIFA are no longer working together and are going their separate ways. While we await news on whether the FIFA will develop a game of their own at all, EA is stepping up and has secured long-term deals with major players in the football world for EA Sports FC.

There's no doubt that authenticity matters: only the developer with the most realistic game will win the long-term battle for the best football simulation. After all, don't we all want to play with real players, in real clubs and in real competitions?

EA FC 24 Leagues & Clubs: Authenticity Despite Loss Of The FIFA License

EA FC 24 features more than 30 leagues, with 700+ Teams and 19,000 Athletes and despite the rebranding from FIFA to EA Sports FC we can assure you, that we'll keep ob playing with original clubs. Only Italy has again some teams without real names and badges.

The German Women's Bundesliga will be included for the first time, as well as La Liga F. The new emphasis on women's football (also in FUT) is fantastic. Those who don't like it won't be forced to play with them, but for the majority of the community, it will be a new experience to get to know female players.

Not to sound pathetic, but EA FC 24 could really do something positive for women's football. What's not to like?
