Here's a guide to solving the Web App SBC problem and successfully completing the Foundation V SBC in EA FC 24. With the introduction of the Web and Companion App, EA Sports has introduced new glitches into the game. In particular, one of the Foundation SBCs fails when attempting to submit, even when using the correct players.
EA FC 24 is live! In the new Web App, you can already prepare for the start of Ultimate Team and build yourself a starter team. If it were that easy because there is a massive bug or glitch in the Foundations Squad Battle Challenges (SBCs).
This glitch prevents you from completing the Foundations SBCs – you have to forego valuable packs and players. However, there is a method to bypass this glitch and complete the SBC. We'll show you how to fix the bug in Foundations V "A Better Buildup."
EA FC 24 Web App: SBC Glitch
In the EA FC 24 Web App, you can already open packs, buy players, and complete SBCs before the official release of the full version of the game. This allows you to get ahead of many other gamers worldwide. When the Ultimate or Standard Edition is released, you already have a competitive team to start Squad Battles or Division Rivals.
Except for the SBC bug in the Web App that many players stumble upon.
EA FC 24 Web App: Foundations V SBC Bug
Once you have completed Foundations I, you can complete all the other Foundations SBCs. Typically, you have all the players you need in your club if you follow the order of the SBCs. However, Foundations V is a problem. Here are the requirements:
- Player Quality: Exactly Bronze
- Minimum 1 Chemistry point for each player
- Number of players in the team: Exactly 3
For whatever reason, this SBC is bugged. If you put "normal" CMs in the lineup, you cannot submit the team. NepentheZ found a solution via Twitter, which we will show you now.
EA FC 24: Foundations SBC Solution
If you insert Bronze cards in the RCM position that can only play CM, you cannot submit the team. You MUST include a player in that position who can play both CM and CDM. If you pay attention to this and the other requirements, you can submit this SBC without any issues and open the pack.
You can check a player's alternative positions in the player bio. As mentioned, the player must be able to play both CM and CDM; otherwise, it won't work.
