EA Sports doesn't have traditional cheat codes in EA FC 24 like you might know from other games. So, there's no magic key combination that grants you infinite FUT Coins, and that's a good thing. You can't just spawn a helicopter like in GTA 5 here.
However, there are various methods through which players can gain an unfair advantage in different game modes. In this article, we'll show you various types of cheats that you might have encountered in a FIFA game before.
EA FC 24 Cheats
Since EA FC 24 hasn't been released yet, we can't say with absolute certainty what cheats will be in the game. But generally speaking, EA Sports has a good anti-cheat engine, which worked well in FIFA 23 towards the end as well.
In F1 23, it's not the same – there, drivers have to deal with cheaters.
EA has implemented crossplay in all their major sports games, like in EA FC or even in Madden NFL 24. This gives PC players a bigger platform to use cheats. However, these players are just a small fraction of those playing EA FC 24 on PC. These noobs are too bad at the game and only know how to cheat, it's pathetic.
We'll now show you possible cheats in EA FC 24 that you should report immediately if you notice them. We won't show you how to acquire illegal cheats or bots in this article.
EA FC 24 Offline Cheats
Offline cheats aren't as bad since they don't give you unfair advantages and don't affect other players' experiences. In most cases, we can accept the use of these cheats and adjustments as they can be fun and even enhance the game.
Gameplay Adjustments in EA FC 24
Let's start with a mild "cheat." This adjustment doesn't affect other players, and you can only use it in the offline modes of EA FC 24. There's actually a quick way to boost things like pass accuracy, shooting effectiveness, sprint speed, and more.
To do this, simply go to the main menu or, if you're already in a game, press the pause button and select game settings. Then you can choose "CPU: Adjust Gameplay" or "User: Adjust Gameplay".
Once there, you can weaken the CPU, improve your team's abilities, or even do both. By the way, if you're really good at EA FC 24 and the highest difficulty level still isn't challenging enough for you, you can also strengthen the CPU and give yourself a challenge. It's not classic cheating, but we still wanted to explain this feature to you.
EA FC 24 Cheat Engine
This method is actually cheating. The name gives it away... The Cheat Engine is available only to PC players and is most often used in Career Mode. The Cheat Engine delves deep into your game's source code and changes certain settings. You have countless options, and they can be really fun.
You can make simple changes like adjusting manager ratings, a player's morale, position, or even the potential of young talents – all the way to some really game-changing stuff.
You have the ability to transfer players between different teams, adjust your budget, and add players like Icons or even entirely new leagues. However, this only affects your own game, so if you want to use it, go ahead – as long as you don't harm any other online players.
Advantage Settings
One way that helps you beat your friend in an offline match... Once you're in the team selection screen, keep an eye on the center of the screen. There you'll see an icon telling you to press R3 if you're on PlayStation or click the right stick if you're on Xbox. Then you can adjust the difficulty level of your friend's players.
Doing this unnoticed is difficult since your friend will probably notice if he's sitting next to you. So, you should take the chance, if at all, when he goes to get a drink or something. But that would be pretty unfair... but also funny.
Edit Players
This is probably one of the most well-known entries on this list. You can simply change a player's values in the main menu. Click on "Customize" and then "Edit Players". Select the player you want to edit and can then change any of their values as you wish. These adjustments apply only to Career Mode (select "Use Current Squads" when starting a new career), Kick-Off, and Tournaments. You could even create an entirely new player and add them to Career Mode.
Online Cheats
These are cheats that also affect other players, so we advise against using them. They are mainly used in FUT because let's be honest: that's probably the only EA FC mode you really play and likely the main reason you searched for and found this article.
These cheats give you an unfair advantage over other players, and it's good that you get banned for using them in FUT or even in all online modes if EA catches you...
EA FC 24: Buying FUT Coins
There are various ways to buy FUT Coins on numerous websites, and this is one of the oldest cheats in EA FC Ultimate Team. Unfortunately, it's very easy to visit a website that sells coins. Here are the most common methods of buying coins:
- Player Auction: You list a player on the transfer market, and the person selling you coins bids an excessively high price on your item.
- Comfort Trade: The most convenient method for the buyer. You don't have to do anything except give the website you bought coins from your login details, and they do the rest.
- Mule Account: You receive an account with the number of coins you purchased. You then only need to transfer the coins to your account. This way, sellers minimize the risk of getting banned.
Bots & Hacks in EA FC 24
There are various types of bots you can purchase. Usually, bots are used to snipe players on the transfer market at cheap prices. You enter the desired buying price, and the bot does the rest. Depending on which bot you buy, it can even immediately put the sniped player back on the market.
Some bots also perform mass bids. You hope that other players don't have the items on their radar, and you can snatch them up for a lower price. Of course, this is not allowed by EA, and if they catch you, you can say goodbye to your FUT account or at least your access to the transfer market. And that will likely lead to you losing interest in FUT sooner or later.
No-Loss Glitch
Have you ever wondered, "Why did my opponent leave the Weekend League game? They could still have beaten me." That's probably either because they're angry and lost previous games due to momentum (or at least they believe so) or they used a no-loss glitch.
No-loss glitches pop up regularly in FUT, and it's a way to finish Weekend League games without a loss in the WL record. These players leave the game as soon as they see your strong team or if they're losing 1-0. EA Sports regularly tries to prevent these glitches and bans FUT players who exploit them.
EA FC 24 Glitch: Esport AI
PC players unfortunately have the option to use various glitches and cheats in EA FC 24. Thanks to crossplay, you might play against these cheaters. Therefore, we recommend that console players disable crossplay.
Cheats aren't possible with PlayStation and Xbox, at least as far as we can tell. But with a computer, it's a different story; unfortunately, there are various ways to gain an unfair advantage if you're not good enough for EA FC 24.
One example is the Esport AI glitch. Here, PC players have the Esport AI play against you in an online match. If you're playing Division Rivals or Champions, and your opponent isn't controlling their players, then you're playing against a hacker.
The best option in this case is to immediately leave the game if it's tied 0-0. You'll get a loss, but the cheater won't get a win. So, it's best not to even try, even if the PC player sends in a bronze team: The AI will defeat you.
The only way to avoid these cheaters is to disable crossplay. It's really sad because this feature is relatively new and is already being exploited.
Invisible Glitch
And again, the PC cheaters: there's an invisible glitch! In this glitch, you can't see any of the opposing players on the field. You only see the ball rolling across the field. The mini-map is also unreliable. You have no chance to defend against the opponent.
We've seen examples on Twitter from FIFA 23 where the invisible cheaters were defeated. For EA FC 24, it's probably possible as well.
