Epic Games has revealed a new skin for Fortnite Crew subscribers to enjoy starting in October 2023: Shimmerdusk is coming to the island.
If you didn't know yet: Fortnite Crew is a subscription service for those who like exclusive rewards. Even more exclusive than anything offered in the Battle Pass or the normal item shop.
All members of the Fortnite Crew get some pretty nice bang for their buck. In addition to the skin that we are introducing to you today, the Crew Pack also includes 1,000 V-Bucks and the Battle Pass. When you purchase the October membership, it's the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass.
Fortnite Crew Skin In October: Release Date
The October Crew Pack featuring the new Shimmerdusk Skin will be available to active Fortnite Crew members at 8 PM ET on September 31, 2023. But as always, in addition to the skin, you will also receive a few other sugar-sweet cosmetics and a few V-Bucks.

Fortnite Crew Skin for October 2023: Shimmerdusk
While we got Atrea for the Battle Royale in September, we welcome Shimmerdusk in the Crew Pack for October. And she brings in several different styles right away!
These are all the items included in the pack:
- Shimmerdusk Skin (with two more styles)
- Gothic Gearpack Back Bling
- Huntress' Duskblade Pickaxe Pickaxe
- Fae Infiltrator Loading Screen
The exciting thing about this crew pack is that starting in October 2023, you can expect unlockable legacy styles for new crew pack outfits. After receiving a Crew Pack that is eligible for Legacy Styles, you’ll unlock a Legacy Style for every month you’re an active Fortnite Crew subscriber following the month the Crew Pack has been received, until you’ve unlocked all the available Styles.
Starting with the Shimmerdusk Outfit of the October 2023 Crew Pack, here are Legacy Styles you can unlock for your Crew Pack Outfits:
- 1 month of subscribing since receiving the Crew Pack - A Legacy Style specific to the Crew Pack
- 2 months of subscribing since receiving the Crew Pack - Auric Legacy Style
- 3 months of subscribing since receiving the Crew Pack - Phase Legacy Style
- 4 months of subscribing since receiving the Crew Pack - Rimebound Legacy Style
- 5 months of subscribing since receiving the Crew Pack - Cosmic Legacy Style
So these are the cosmetics you get. As mentioned, there are also monthly V-Bucks directly to your account! There are always 1,000 monthly, but they don't come at the beginning of the month, but always on the day of the month on which you took out your subscription. So don't be surprised.
Fortnite crew members also always have instant access to the current season's Battle Pass. This means that active members during Chapter 4 Season 4 will automatically receive the associated Battle Pass! If you already bought the Battle Pass before you became a member of the season, you will get an additional 950 V-Bucks refunded to your account.
Fortnite Crew in October 2023: Cost
As always, the Fortnite Crew Pack for October costs $11.99. The Fortnite Crew service is a subscription service and can be canceled at any time. You can keep all discounts. Also, you won't lose any Outfits, V-Bucks, or Battle Passes if you decide to unsubscribe.
How To Become A Fortnite Crew Member
To join the Fortnite Crew, just follow the steps below:
- Go to the Fortnite Item Shop
- Scroll down for the latest Fortnite Crew Pack
- Click on "Become part of the crew"
- You will then be taken to the purchase screen where you can confirm your purchase
- Now you are an official member of the Fortnite crew! But don't forget that the subscription will now continue automatically if you don't cancel
If you want the skin, you should hurry before it disappears. The Fortnite Crew Skin will never be seen in the Item Shop again after a month!
