Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 has just reached its peak, but after many fun events, new POIs, new weapons and more, the question of how the season will end is naturally starting to arise. And according to the latest leaks, something incredible is about to happen!

Will the Foundation and the rest of the 7 return in a big live event? What is Kado Thorne up to? Or will we have to wait a bit longer for the Fortnite story to continue? Here is everything we know so far.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4: Back To Chapter 1

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 ends on November 03, 2023.

The exciting thing about this season ending is that according to the latest leaks, we will return to the Chapter 1 map for only one month and then afterward, at the beginning of December, we will start in Chapter 5 with a completely new map.

And while it's not officially confirmed that there will be a live event at the end of Chapter 4 Season 4, it's very likely. According to Fortnite leaker Shiina, the time machine of Kado Thorne, the villain of this Season, will lose control, so a rift will teleport us to the Chapter 1 map afterward.

At this point, the information becomes less clear, but it seems that the maps might be mixed together in some way.

That is, the next season's map will contain large parts of the map from Chapter 1 and will most likely change weekly at certain seasons.

And the old weapons and old weapon models will also return.

In fact, the live event has been teased several times during the season. At the beginning of the Chapter 4 Season 4 trailer, we see Kado Thorne getting out of a time machine. This shows the date 25.03.2020. He is holding the golden skull of Aurum in his hand - a skin that appeared in the Fortnite item store on this very day during Chapter 2 Season 2 and is part of the "Midas Revenge" set.

The scar on his left eye proves it: This golden skeleton is the resurrected Midas. But what does all this mean?

We can only speculate, but we suspect that Thorne wants to continue what Midas had tried to do in the past - break out of the endless Fortnite loop. For that, he built a time machine to bring Midas back and maybe use his powers in the current Season.

However, we don't know yet if Thorne will be teleported to the Chapter 1 map and how the story will continue in Chapter 5... As always, we will of course keep you up to date.
