Introducing Season 5: Get Wrecked, the latest major update for Call of Duty: Mobile, which is now available for download and play. This exciting new season brings a range of additions including a new map, a hybrid game mode, two new weapons, a new BR class, and much more.
In addition to these exciting features, there have been significant weapon balance changes that have shaken up the COD: Mobile meta. Notably, weapons like AS Val, Cordite, and HDR, among others, have received substantial buffs.

COD: Mobile Season 5: Best Weapons
COD Mobile features nine distinct weapon categories, which include:
- Secondaries (pistols, melees, rocket launchers)
- Shotguns
- Submachine guns (SMGs)
- Assault rifles (ARs)
- Light machine guns (LMGs)
- Marksman rifles
- Sniper rifles
In the following sections, we will explore each weapon category and determine the top-performing gun in each. This will provide you with valuable insights into which firearms to focus on and which ones are not worth prioritizing.

While some of the guns mentioned below excel without any attachments, others may reach their full potential when specific attachments are unlocked. To unlock all available attachments, you will need to level up your weapons.
COD: Mobile Season 5: Best Secondary
When it comes to selecting a secondary weapon, our preferred choice is a pistol. While melee weapons can be fun and deadly, they require close proximity to your opponent, whereas a pistol provides versatility in close to medium-range encounters.
Among the available options like the L-CAR 9 and .50GS, we believe the MW11 stands out as the best choice. It received a significant buff in Season 9, which initially made it incredibly powerful. Although its strength has been toned down since then, it remains a fast-firing pistol with high impact and offers a wide range of customization through various attachments.
As we enter Season 5, the MW11 is still our top recommendation for a secondary weapon.

COD: Mobile Season 5: Best Shotgun
When it comes to shotguns, the R9-0 has established itself as a dominant force in the meta, and that trend is expected to continue in Season 5. With a combination of semi-auto and pump-action capabilities, the R9-0 allows for consecutive shots without the need for immediate rechambering.
This rapid firing mechanism contributes to its lethal nature. If your initial shot doesn't hit the mark, you can swiftly follow up with a more precise second shot. Its generous magazine capacity and wide range of attachments make it a versatile option that few other shotguns can rival. The KRM-262, which shares similarities with the R9-0, is the only significant contender in the COD: Mobile Season 5 meta.

COD: Mobile Season 5: Best SMG
Let's address it right away: the CBR4 remains the top-performing submachine gun in Season 5, despite the various adjustments it has undergone throughout the past year.
Even with the alterations, including both nerfs and buffs, the CBR4 continues to excel as a highly effective weapon. Its rapid rate of fire, minimal recoil, and ability to engage enemies at medium range make it an exceptional SMG choice.
While there are other viable options within this category - such as the PPSh-41, which we highly recommend - if you're seeking the absolute "best," the CBR4 is the clear winner.

COD: Mobile Season 5 : Best AR
As we enter Season 5, the assault rifle class has undergone several adjustments. The HS0405, Echo, AK-47, and Peacekeeper MK2 have all received buffs in an effort to balance their performance.
Among these rifles, the Peacekeeper MK2 initially claimed the top spot on our assault rifle tier list. However, despite the recent changes that reduce hit flinch and ADS spread, it hasn't quite reclaimed its former glory.
In our assessment, the M13 remains the reigning champion as the best assault rifle in COD: Mobile. With its user-friendly nature and an extensive array of attachments, this versatile American-made rifle excels in various combat scenarios, making it a true all-rounder.

Best LMG In COD: Mobile Season 5
The Holger 26 is the standout choice in the light machine gun class when it comes to COD: Mobile. It received significant buffs in Season 9, improving its damage output, effective range, and bullet spread. With its large 100-round magazine, the Holger 26 becomes an absolute powerhouse in the hands of skilled players. Given the minimal changes to other LMGs in Season 5, we expect the Holger 26 to maintain its position as the preferred LMG option.

COD: Mobile Season 5: Best Marksman Rifle
With no significant alterations to the marksman class in Season 5, the SKS remains the dominant choice in this category. Its position remains unchallenged, as no other marksman rifle has undergone notable changes. The SKS continues to reign supreme as the go-to option for marksman enthusiasts.
The SKS is a popular choice in COD: Mobile, known for its one-shot kill potential with headshots and two-shot kills with upper body hits. It excels at keeping opponents at a distance.

COD: Mobile Season 5: Best Sniper Rifle
The DL Q33 sniper rifle in COD: Mobile has enjoyed unmatched dominance over an extended period. While the CBR 4 and the ZRG 20mm have made their mark, neither has had the same lasting impact as the DL Q33, beloved by both casual and professional players.
As one of the few guns capable of one-shot kills, the DL Q33 is the epitome of a sniper's weapon. Its exceptional accuracy and relatively high rate of fire make it a formidable choice, provided you can consistently hit your targets.
Although the DL Q33's signature attachment received a nerf in Season 2, this primarily affects its performance in the battle royale mode. It remains firmly positioned at the top of the sniper rifle tier list.
